WHY WAS MR. TRUMP RE-ELECTED AS PRESIDENT SO OVERWHELMINGLY?

As I see it, today America is a country in transition and turmoil. It is changing fast culturally, economically, and demographically. The white American population is declining, and the majority is formed by non-Caucasian minorities. More similar immigrants are waiting at the borders to enter the country. White Americans are expressing resentment.

America in this tumultuous time thinks it needs a strong and forceful male leader who may be even is a convicted felon, a draft dodger, a tax cheater, an adulterer, and 78 years old. But not a woman leader, especially not a mixed-race Black woman.

Mr. Trump deserve much credit for sensing and seeing his country’s mood and projecting an image of a strong leader by wisely using two assassination attempts on his life, speaking simply and often using vulgar language, and even talking about the size of the penis of famed golfer Arnold Palmer to appeal the manhood of the common man, and to degrade women.

To me that is why Mr. Trump succeeded. The rest of explanations are details.
