MAGA MOVEMENT REMINDER

I would like to remind those people who believe in the MAGA (Make America Great Again) movement that only science makes America great again, not rhetoric.

The Trump administration’s decision, backed by his congressional enablers, to attack evidence-based truth, science, scientific institutions, Universities with bogus reasons, by cutting their research grands, and cutting the funding for public services does not make America great, it only makes America regress, and become a smaller nation.

The MAGA movement somehow reminds me of the Maoist Cultural Revolution in China from 1966 – 1976. Mao Cetung, to reassert his authority on the Chinees government and Chinees people attacked and destroyed every freedom, and free cultural institutions, media and killing millions of people by the aid on his red guards.

Today’s America is already great, it is the beacon of freedom, democracy, scientific accomplishments, and economic growth. America as a nation has won the most Nobel prizes in the world, total 423, to prove it.

An ancient saying tells us, “If isn’t broken, do not try to fix it.”
